Harts has teamed up with Gorvins Solicitors to develop a prestigious school of
education and training to help business.
The move comes after repeated requests made to Gorvins by SME businesses for affordable, ‘added value’, guidance and training on a broad range of commercial issues.
The Academy’s initial focus on workplace and employment education will be just the start of an ambitious long-term vision from Gorvins to provide a full range of business commercial training programmes for SMEs in the region.
Harts joins 12 other experts working with Gorvins to deliver this first phase of the Business Academy programme. The firm will be providing tax advice and strategies around senior exits.

The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals and Harts Limited are conducting research to understand businesses readiness for the introduction of Automatic Enrolment. This survey sets out to obtain feedback from the payroll software industry, payroll bureau/agents (large and small), pension providers and employers. As a founder member, Harts are delighted to announce that over 130 people attended the Cheshire Professionals launch on Thursday 24 January to learn about the new corporate membership organisation set up to support the professional services community in Cheshire.
The launch event took place at the Innovation Centre, (Sci-tech), Daresbury. Attendees to the event received presentations from Nigel Haddon Chair of Cheshire Professionals, John Leake from Sci-tech. Barrie Kelly from Marketing Cheshire and Howard Hopwood Deputy Chair of the Cheshire & Warrington LEP.

Harts have recently been lead advisors in the £2m acquisition of private operator Bluebird Bus by Stagecoach Group.
Bluebird, based at Greengate, Middleton, was founded in 1988 and operates services in north Manchester employing around 80 staff. It generated revenues of £4m in the year to March 2012 and underlying profits of £480,000. Stagecoach said the purchase includes a leased depot at Greengate, Middleton, and 40 buses.
Kay Stevenson, Marketing Manager at Harts, has been making a great effort to get fit for a Coast to Coast ride on 2 June with Macclesfield Round Table. This is in aid of the Wheelies Sport and Activities Club, which is a unique club based in Macclesfield which provides sports and other activities for physically disabled people and wheelchair users of all ages.
